I’m Not Corrupt! – Fmr. Info Minister Challenges ORAL

Former Minister of Information, Fatima Abubakar has thrown a challenge to the ORAL team stressing she isn’t afraid of them.

The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) is set up by the President, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, to investigate corruption cases involving officials of the Akufo-Addo government and take back all State assets they have allegedly looted.

The team comprises North Tongu MP and now Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Security Head in charge of Operations at the Presidency, COP Kofi Boakye rtd., lawyer Martin Kpebu among others.

Joining the panel of Friday’s edition of Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Fatima Abubakar rebuked the ORAL team and NDC supporters for employing aggressive methods in their pursuit to clamp down on the persons they describe as corrupt.

In addressing the ORAL approach which she labeled as unlawful, the former Minister stated categorically that she cannot fall prey to this team.

“I don’t take bribe; I don’t give bribe. I am not corrupt…I am not afraid of ORAL, OPAL whatever. Even if it is ORS, I am not afraid”, she told Nana Yaw Kesseh.
