I’m The ‘King of Headlines’ – Cheddar Clarifies His ‘Sea To Kumasi’ Policy

Cheddar, known in real life as Nana Kwame Bediako, has clarified his pledge to send sea to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region if elected President of Ghana.

Nana Kwame Bediako, founder and leader of the New Force, is contesting the December general elections as independent candidate.

Outlining his policies which include making Ghana a technological hub, Cheddar told the nation that one of things he will do to transform the country is to dredge the sea and extend it to Kumasi which has been landlocked for years.

After making this promise, he came under a barrage of criticisms and has been ridiculed for what some people term as an “over-ambitious” policy.

With some critics describing it as an impossible project, Cheddar remains unfazed and confident in what he wants to do.

Explaining what he meant by sending the sea to a place which cannot harbor the sea, the New Force Leader told Peace FM in an interview on the station’s morning show “Kokrokoo” that he meant to adjoin the rivers in the Ashanti Region with the sea for  industrialization.

He further explained in specificity that he will dredge the sea and create a canal to make it possible for ports in the Ashanti Region and other Regions of the country.

Nana Kwame Bediako described himself as the “king of headlines”, stressing his initial comments on his sea policy were misconstrued.
