Inaki Williams Arrives To Join His Black Stars Team Mates Ahead Of AFCON 2023

Inaki Williams has finally arrived in Ghana to join the national team, Black Stars, in their preparations ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Athletic Bilbao forward was scheduled to arrive on Monday but couldn’t come due to illness.

He has however arrived in Accra on Thursday and will join his team mates on Friday.

The Black Stars are currently undergoing a rigorous training to compete in the AFCON, hoping to rout their opponents in the tournament.

Williams’ arrival comes with joy as the Black Stars seek to end the team’s 42-year wait for the AFCON trophy.

The team will on Monday, January 8, have a friendly with Namibia before travelling to Abidjan two days later to go against Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique in the Group B of the tournament.
