Independence Day: Prison Officer Dies During Rehearsals

A Prisons officer have reportedly died during rehearsals for the 6th March Independence Day celebration.

The officer, Lance Corporal Paul Badu, according to medical report, suffered a “ruptured aneurysm, likely caused by high blood pressure”.

The 40-year old, who joined the service in 2018, is said to have complained about being dizzy during the rehearsals but his condition called for urgent medical attention.

He passed away after his arrival at the hospital.

Lance Corporal Paul Badu was survived by a wife and two children.
