It’s No News If I Smoke ‘Weed’ – King Paluta

Budding Ghana musician, King Paluta is in the news only for his music act but for what some people have termed as his witty answer to a question on whether or not he smokes marijuana.

The musician appeared before the Deloris Frimpong Manso, alias Delay, on her show and was asked to open up on his urge to smoke.

Delay asked King Paluta about his cannabis consumption and the musician tactfully answered that “if people like us sit before you and talk about ‘weed’, it’s no news”,explaining to the interviewer that his lifestyle makes it obvious that he smokes.

To him, the shocking news will be if a gospel musician is known to be smoking marijuana.

“If I tell you I smoke, it’s no news, it’s not shocking. But if I say I don’t smoke, even your viewers will insult me for lying. So, I don’t even have to say ‘no’ or ‘yes’”, he stressed, adding “you should rather engage the gospel musicians – Nacee, Bro Sammy and the likes on this subject”.
