I’ve Messed Up But I Need A Second Chance! – Funny Face Cries For Forgiveness

Comic actor, Funny Face is asking Ghanaians to forgive him following his involvement in an accident on Sunday, March 24, 2024 that injured about five persons including children.

Funny Face was reported to have been driving under the influence of alcohol and run his car into pedestrians, causing serious injuries to the victims.

He was later arrested under charges of driving while drunk and careless driving.

He has been granted a GHC 120,000 bail by a District Court at Kasoa Akweley and will reappear on May 10.

After accessing his bail, Funny Face, known in real life as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, in an interview on Kofi TV, got emotional, tearing up and literally begged for forgiveness and the mercy of Ghanaians and his Maker.

He noted that though his life has taken a bad turn, he admits he contributed to his current state and takes responsibility for playing an active role in messing up his promising life.

To him, he has learned his lessons and believes in taking sober reflection to address his actions and misconduct as he turns over a new leaf.

The actor therefore pleaded for a second chance saying “Jehovah [God] is only person who can tell Ghanaians to love Funny Face again. Jehovah is only person who can tell Ghanaians to give Funny Face a chance. When Jehovah touches the hearts of Ghanaians, their heart will be touched”.

“I’ve erred; I’m a human. Like I have messed my life up and I need a second chance”, he cried amidst hope of being restored to a better life.
