Ken Ofori-Atta No Longer A ‘Wanted Fugitive’ – Special Prosecutor Declares

Ken Ofori-Atta, former Finance Minister

Ken Ofori-Atta, former Finance Minister, is no longer a “wanted fugitive”, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared.

According to the OSP, they are reliably informed of the former Minister’s early return to Ghana as the latter is reportedly receiving medical treatment in the USA.

The Special Prosecutor, in a statement, says Ken Ofori-Atta has been removed from their fugitive list.

“…Mr. Ofori-Atta has been removed from the OSP’s list of wanted persons and the OSP ceases to consider Mr. Ofori-Atta a fugitive from justice pending his voluntary return to the jurisdiction circa his stated date…”
