Letter To Kofi Amoah – P.K Sarpong Writes
Dear Dr. Kofi Amoah!
I wonder if you truly go by the tenets of the doctoral program you pursued which enabled you to be called a doctor.
For someone who is tutored, one expects you to speak, act and do things according to the knowledge you acquired.
Your case is an exceptional one. You keep on betraying your intelligence by some of these hollow arguments or statements you put out there.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I was reading what you said to the effect that digitalization is an expensive joke without jobs. Of course, you are targeting Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia with your vitriolic comments.
Are you for real? Were you sober when you said that? Is everything okay with you? I cannot, for the life of me, come to terms with the statement you made.
You mean digitalization is not a pathway for creating jobs and wealth in an economy? Are you saying that digitalization and job creation are not in consonance with each other?
And you are a doctor? Who awarded you your doctoral degree? The University that awarded you your degree must be petitioned to withdraw same! Your mind dwells in the stone ages!
I wish I could describe you as ignorant, but the more I think about it, the more it occurs to me that you have allowed your hatred towards this government to cloud your sense of judgement.
Kofi Amoah, stop blaming this administration for your self-inflicted woes! You expected this administration to allow you to continue with what you were doing to rake in more cash into your pockets when same avenue does not sync with our legal systems? Sorry, Sir, it doesn’t work that way!
Stop attacking this administration. You were given the opportunity to put our football on a sound footing and you made a mess of it! In fact, our football came out more scathed than it was bequeathed to you!
You paid yourself huge sums of monies as allowances, something Ghanaians saw as very outrageous. Some of those who were working with you on the Normalization Committee were forced to resign because of your despotic attitude and crass behaviour towards them.
Sir, digitalization and job creation are like Siamese twins, they move together. They are of the same umbilical cords, complementing each other in ways that are not possible in other fields.
If you, Kofi Amoah, does not know this, then I wonder why media houses call you for your opinions on matters of national importance.
