Mahama And NDC Lack Credibility…Don’t Trust Them – Kofi Tonto To Ghanaians
Government Spokesperson, Kofi Tonto has labeled Ex- President and leader of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, as person without credibility.
According to him, Mr. Mahama has always shown in his words and actions that he cannot and shouldn’t be trusted.
Kofi Tonto, commenting on Peace FM’s Friday edition of “Kokrokoo” show, rubbished the NDC Youth Manifesto.
Mr. Mahama promised during the launch of his Youth Manifesto at UPSA to provide free tuition for 1st year students in tertiary institutions, make student loans more accessible and introduce other projects to ameliorate the conditions of the youth.
“We shall decentralize the procurement of food and other supplies to the headmaster’s school basis. In order to improve the quality of food and also boost the local economies in the district where the schools are located”.
“We shall expand access by building more infrastructure in existing secondary schools, and we shall dedicate funding to completing the E blocks in order that more children can have the opportunity to go to school”, he assured.
The former President has also promised to complete the “Agenda 111” health project undertaken by President Nana Akufo-Addo if elected President again.
He believes his government will create more jobs through the Agenda 111.
Responding to Ex-President Mahama, Kofi Tonto listed some statements that the NDC flagbearer made against the free education and Agenda 111 policies among others by the Akufo-Addo government.
He quoted Mahama as describing the Agenda 111 as an “over-ambitious” project.
He therefore wondered how Mahama now wants to complete an overly ambitious project, something he has been speaking against.
To him, “John Dramani Mahama and his party are not credible. They have proven time and again that they say something today and another thing tomorrow. I can tell you so many credible issues to show why John Dramani Mahama is not a credible person.”
He urged Ghanaians not to trust Mahama stressing “this election is going to be about credibility and our leader, Mahamudu Bawumia has shown that he is truthful and honest with his word. He’s shown he is credible”.
