Mahama Instructs IGP To Immediately Investigate 8 Deaths In 2020/24 Elections

Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has been instructed by the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, to initiate an immediate investigation into the deaths of eight (8) persons during the 2020/24 elections.

A letter signed by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, read; “These incidents, which occurred in various parts of the country, have left a lasting scar on our democratic process, and it is imperative that justice is served for the victims and their families.”
