Mahama Isn’t NDC President; Stop This ‘Our Party In Govt’ Mentality! – Kabilla

James Kwabena Bomfeh has cautioned NDC members and supporters against their entitlement mentality since the party took over the reins of government.

Following EC declaration of John Dramani Mahama as President-elect and his swearing-in ceremony, his supporters have been trespassing private and public institutions claiming it belongs to their government.

A section of them attempted to take over the institutions resulting in fierce confrontations.

Over the weekend, some illegal miners said to belong to the ruling party stormed AngloGold Ashanti but were faced by the Military who shot into them killing more than eight and others sustaining serious injuries.

James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly called “Kabilla”, speaking on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo” condemned the actions of the NDC fanatics.

He questioned the logic in the supporters’ reactions, stressing “there is no NDC government as there was no NPP government. There is a government of the Republic of Ghana headed by His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama”.

He further admonished them to “stop this ‘our party in government’; there is no party in government under this 4th Republic”.
