Man In His Forties Jailed 15 Years For Defiling His Daughter

A 47-year old man has been jailed 15 years for defilement.

The man, Joseph Yankson, who is a driver was accused of having sex with his 13-year old stepdaughter at Tetegu in Accra and prosecuted before a Gender Based Court at the Police Headquarters.

He pleaded guilty of the offence as the prosecution disclosed that the accused person took sexual advantage of his stepdaughter in the absence of his wife who had traveled to visit her relatives.

According to sources, the incident happened on December 26 last year.
