Ministerial Reshuffle: Ken Ofori-Atta, Health Minister To Be Axed?

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, according to sources, will for a long time since he took office announce his ministerial reshuffle today.

A tall list of Ministers is to be declared showing who goes out and who stays or who is reshuffled to a different Ministry.

Information whispered to Ghmessenger about the Ministers who will no longer be a part in this last term of the government include the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.

Ken Ofori-Atta has since 2022 come under pressure from both within the governing New Patriotic Party when some Members of Parliament appealed for his resignation or dismissal and a section of Ghanaians who are still unhappy with him being at post.

Another Minister to be axed is the Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu, who is said to be replaced by the Director of the National Health Insurance Authority, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye.

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey is to be sent to the Interior Ministry which means the sector Minister, Ambrose Dery is also to be dismissed.

Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover will replace Henry Quartey as Minister for Greater Accra Region.
