Monday’s Rainstorm: Massive Tree Crashes Cars Parked At Airport

Monday’s morning rainstorm devastated some parts of the capital city, Accra.

The heavy rains caused a gigantic tree to fall and crash into several cars.

The cars were mangled as the trees collapsed, fortunately there are no casualties.

However, one person was reportedly injured  and rushed to the hospital as the tree fell on a motorbike.

According to Citi News, the unfortunate event occurred as the motorbike rider, attempting to evade the falling tree, crossed paths with the descending trunk.

Further details of the incident reveal about six vehicles were destroyed in the vicinity of the Kotoka International Airport due to fallen trees and vehicles parked around the Landing Restaurant were also damaged.
