Movie Legend Mr. Ibu Has Died

Nigerian movie legend, John Okafor, widely known as Mr. Ibu, has died.

The veteran actor reportedly passed away at Evercare Hospital in Lagos State, Nigeria, following his protracted ill health.

Mr. Ibu not too long ago was admitted in the hospital and his family cried out for financial support to assist with his medical treatment and bills.

The family said he “had constant clotting of the blood in his leg (diseased blood vessels) and other health challenges posing a risk to his life”.

The actor was later reported to have been amputated due to the illness.

Mr. Ibu passed on today at age 62.
