National Chief Imam Prays For Bawumia And Ghana Ahead Of Saturday’s Election

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia yesterday joined the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and a host of Imams for a special prayer and thanksgiving session in Accra.

The event, also graced by a number of Zongo Chiefs and other stakeholders of the Zongo community, saw the attendees pray for a peaceful election and stability in Ghana post-election.

The National Chief Imam who led the prayers and thanksgiving service for the nation prayed a special prayer for the Vice President who is also the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Sheikh Osman invoked various verses of the Qur’an while praying for God’s favours upon Dr. Bawumia as the nation goes to the polls on Saturday.
