NDC Security Boys ‘Attack’ Yamin, Kofi Boakye For Incompetence

With barely 24 hours to the elections, the opposition National Democratic Congress is seemingly in tatters in the Ashanti Region after the party’s National Organizer, Joseph Yamin and Security Consultant, COP Kofi Boakye (rtd), were allegedly attacked by NDC supporters during a live press conference in Kumasi.
Joseph Yamin and Kofi Boakye had organized a press conference to express some concerns about an alleged deployment of some military personnel in the Ashanti Region on the eve of the elections when some angry supporters reportedly belonging to the party’s vigilante group stormed the premises and disrupted proceedings.
For several hours, the angry supporters held the NDC National Organizer “hostage”, locking up the doors and chasing everyone including the media personnel out of the regional conference room.

According to the reports from the invaders, they are disappointed in their leadership for failing to match up the New Patriotic Party in terms of preparations, adding that their information indicates that the ruling party had already advanced in their preparations compared to the NDC.
Destroying chairs and other properties and raining insults on their leaders, the supporters accused their leadership of unseriousness.
“If you want to win an election, you don’t organize unnecessary press conferences. Your opponents are already on the field working and you are here holding press conference”, they argued.
The supporters added they are not happy with the party’s approach towards tomorrow’s polls.
