NDC’s National Campaign Was A ‘Panic Reaction’ – Kwamena Duncan

Kwamena Duncan

Former Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan has taken a shot at the opposition National Democratic Congress and their leader, John Mahama, over the launch of their national campaign over the weekend.

The National Democratic Congress held their campaign event on Saturday, July 27, at Tamale Jubilee Park.

During the event, Mr. Mahama asked Ghanaians to vote for him and his party on December 7, telling them he will be honest and accountable to the citizenry.

But Kwamena finds the NDC’s campaign launch as a “panic reaction”, stating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party, has sent shivers down the spine of the opposition party and their leader, hence their “rush” to launch their campaign in the North.

He listed some development projects that the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration has brought to the North, stating projects ranging from better roads to hospitals and a facelift to the Tamale airport among others.

“When you compare Bawumia and Mahama, you will see that Bawumia is far, far ahead of his time; think and look ahead”, he opined during Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show.
