No Gov’t In Ghana Has Constructed Roads Than Akufo-Addo Gov’t – Ayeh-Paye
Samuel Ayeh-Paye, former Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayensuano constituency, says President Nana Akufo-Addo has done remarkably well when it comes to Ghana’s economic growth.
According to him, a dozen of developmental projects have been undertaken under the Akufo-Addo government to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
Hon. Ayeh-Paye, citing some of the projects that the government has rolled out to enhance the progress of the nation, stated about 86 health facilities under the government’s agenda 111 are at various stages of completion.
The former MP also stated that there is no government in the history of Ghana that has engaged in infrastructure development, particularly in the area of road networks, than what the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration has done.
“It has never occurred that any government in Ghana has done a road network, new road network, expansion of existing road network, re-asphalting of roads than Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government”, he insisted while delivering his submissions on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo”.
He further argued that “the economy is doing well” contrary to popular views that the President has underperformed.
Kwesi Pratt Denies Agenda 111
Also speaking on Kokrokoo, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, rebutted the claims by Hon. Ayeh-Paye.
He referenced one of the leading members of the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, as saying “30 projects are at various stages of completion”.
“And you have projected it to 86. Well, this is between you and him (Kwabena Agyepong)”, he replied Ayeh-Paye.
