Obuasi Deaths: Bring Persons Guilty Of Unlawfulness To Justice – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has called for an investigation into the deaths that occurred at Obuasi within one of the Anglogold Ashanti mine shafts.

Eight (8) persons are officially reported to have lost their lives in the incident.

The President, in a statement issued by his acting Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, expressed deep regrets over the tragedy and has called for a thorough investigation to “ensure that any individuals found to have acted unlawfully are brought to justice”.
