One Arrested At Tamale For Possessing Guns

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Imarana Abdulai Gomda at Tamale in the Northern Region for possessing firearms and ammunition without lawful authority.

The suspect was apprehended at Datoyili Barrier in Tamale on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

The illegal items found on the suspect were two SMG rifles with six (6) rounds of 9MM ammunition and two (2) empty magazines were retrieved from him.

Gomda remains in Police custody assisting investigations.
