Osei Assibey Antwi Appointed To Coordinate NPP Campaign Committees In Ashanti Region

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region has announced its Working Committee for its campaign as it gears up for this general elections in December 2024.

At an official launch held on Sunday, August 12 in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, announced to the party their various Committees and respective Heads.

Among the notable personalities inaugurated as key figures of the Working Committee was the Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, who has been appointed by the Ashanti Regional leadership as the Regional Coordinator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Campaign Committees in the Region.

As the Regional Campaign Committee Coordinator, he is to ensure proper coordination amongst all the campaign Committees and regularly brief the Regional Campaign Chairman.

He will also be the liaison between the various Committees ensuring all elements that the Committees will require are in place and working in harmony to achieve the desired outcome.

Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi is an experienced political figure of the party who, as the immediate past Mayor of Kumasi, has a wealth of experience that will be very valuable to the party’s quest to secure a third consecutive term.

He doesn’t only command respect among his peers in the Region but also possesses the strategic prowess needed to coordinate the activities of the Committees effectively as the party targets 85% of the votes in its stronghold.
