Parliament Passes Anti-LGBTQ Bill…Culprits To Face 3 to 5 Years In Jail

Parliament has passed the anti-gay bill prohibiting activities of homosexuals in Ghana.

With this bill on the promotion of human sexual rights and family values bill, otherwise called “anti-gay” bill, passed, every promotion, advocacy and funding of LGBTQ+ practices and any person caught in the act of homosexuality will now face a criminal charge.

Culprits will be subjected to a minimum sentence of 6 months to a 3-year jail term and activists of the LGBTQ+ society will face a 3 to 5-year jail term.
