Petrol Prices Significantly Reducing From Sept. 2
Fuel prices have begun to reduce at some fuel pumps
The prices of petroleum products at the pumps starting from today, September 2, 2024, have now seen a significant reduction by some oil marketing companies in Ghana.
GOIL is selling a litre of petrol at GH₵14.16, representing a 6-pesewa reduction per liter which is 0.42% point reduction in the price.
Diesel also now goes for GH₵14.70 from previous price of GH₵14. 90 and this represents 20 pesewas drop in prices.
An additional information picked up by Ghmessenger from Joy Business further indicates that the second biggest Oil Marketing Firm (OMF), based on half year industry data, Star Oil has also reduced prices of its petroleum products with the company selling price per litre going for GH₵13.65 representing 0.73 percentage points.
This means 10 pesewas have been taken off the previous price.
Diesel, on the other hand, sells for GH₵13.85 per litre from its old price of GH₵14.02.
