Police Arrest Man Who Claimed To Have Had Sex With 14-Year Old Minor

The Police have arrested a man named Nana Poku Piesie alias Kwabena who claimed in a radio interview to have had sexual intercourse with a 14-year old girl.

Speaking on Sompa FM, the man boldly revealed how he had sexual affair with the young girl when she was in primary school till she completed Senior High School.

“A few years ago, I had sex with a 14-year-old girl. Her father is a wealthy man in Dormaa Ahenkro”, he said, continuing that “after my daughter also got to that age, I observed that one teacher had also started making sexual advances at her. I told my wife about it and she reminded me about my sinful act with the other girl”.

Following the man’s confession, rapper Sarkodie and actress Lydia Forson together with a large section of the Ghanaian populace called for the alleged pedophile’s immediate arrest.

“If I speak on this video now, you will say I hate men. You will ignore that this man openly bragged about sleeping with a 14 year old on air. You will instead focus on my outrage; or make it the 14 year olds fault for allowing this”, Lydia Forson said on X.

Sarkodie, outraged by the man’s act,  also wrote “I sense no hate here he should not be walking around freely”.

The Police acting on the public outcry, in a statement, says the man has been apprehended and assisting with investigations.

The Ghana Police Service today 16th July 2024, arrested suspect, Nana Poku Piesie alias Kwabena, who was seen in a viral video claiming to have had sexual intercourse with a minor.

The suspect is in custody assisting police investigations.

We wish to assure the public that the suspect will be taken through the due process of the law.
