Police Headquarters Today Is Like Paradise – Allotey Jacobs Praises IGP, Akufo-Addo
Allotey Jacobs has eulogized the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare for his massive impact at the Ghana Police Service.
Allotey, speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”, seized an opportunity to laud the IGP for causing major changes within the Service, noting down the facelift he has given to the Police headquarters.
“Police headquarters today is like Paradise”, he stated.
The social commentator and former NDC Central Regional Chairman also praised President Nana Akufo-Addo for appointing Dampare as IGP saying “President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed the right person at the right place who is causing major changes”.
Police Housing
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, July 23, commissioned a 320-unit housing complex for the Ghana Police Service.
The housing project is situated at the National Police Training School in Tesano, Accra.
The project comprises seven blocks of 112 two-bedroom apartments and thirteen blocks of 208 three-bedroom apartments with each block containing sixteen apartments.
It also features a multipurpose Sports facility, a kindergarten school, an officer’s mess and other residential amenities.
At an inaugural ceremony, President Akufo-Addo said the initiative aims to provide the Ghana Police Service with adequate resources to do its job.
