Prez Mahama Relieves Dampare…Appoints Christian Tetteh Yohuno As New IGP

President John Dramani Mahama has relieved Dr. George Akuffo Dampare of his position as the Inspector General of Police.

The President has subsequently appointed Dr. Dampare’s deputy, Commissioner of Police (COP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno as his replacement.

This was announced in a press statement issued and signed by the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Thursday, March 13.
