‘Temper Justice With Mercy; Return To Work’ – Salam Mustapha ‘Begs’ Striking Nurses/Midwives

Salam Mustapha, the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, has appealed to the striking nurses to ease up their industrial action.

The nurses and midwives are currently on strike following government’s failure to heed their demands for improved living standards.

The strike has resulted in a dicey situation bordering on life and death as the absence of the nurses and midwives pose a great threat to patients.

Contributing to Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Salam Mustapha “begged” the striking health professionals to resume work or provide limited services to patients stressing the importance of life.

He urged them stating “they should tamper justice with mercy…Even if they will offer limited services, it will help to minimize casualties”.

Salam Mustapha also called on the President to intervene in the GRNMA brouhaha.

“His Excellency the President should act on this matter as a matter of urgency”, he said.
