TGMA 2025: King Promise Crowned ‘Artiste of the Year’
King Promise has been crowned the “Artiste of the Year” of the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The Afrobeats artiste outwitted musicians King Paluta and Stonebwoy who were thought to be the main contenders in the category.
King Promise, before winning the most coveted award of the night, also won the “Best AfroPop Song of the Year” and “Best Afrobeat/AfroPop Artiste of the Year”.
He also bagged the “Album/EP of the Year”.
With King Promise gaining the highest recognition of the night, there are many Ghanaians who believe he deserves it as he had worked hard under the year of review with his series of sold-out concerts and hit songs giving him the competitive edge to be adjudged this year’s TGMA Artiste of the Year.
