They’re Threatening My Assistant – Michael Blackson Goes Wild On Ghana Gov’t
Ghanaian-American comedian and actor, Michael Blackson says his assistant in Ghana is receiving threats due to his social media posts regarding the current Government of Ghana.
Michael Blackson, in a series of posts on X, complained bitterly about the government cheating him after investing in Ghana’s Eurobond.
“Ghana decided to use our money to pay their debt to China or whoever and leave us hanging.”
“Who’s the minister of finance in Ghana? I have beef with this guy. People of the diaspora decided to invest in our continent and they used our money to pay their debt and gave us two options. Either take a 37% cut and receive 5% interest with 11 yrs maturity date or no cut but 1.9% interest with 15 yrs maturity date. I’m very disappointed in my people for this”, he posted.
In a follow-up tweet, the comedian alleges his aide has started receiving threats, therefore wondering why his assistant should be in danger because he demands fairness.
“Let me get this straight, I decided to come home because of the love and passion I have for home but I get robbed and since I don’t have the power to fight back, I decided to tell the world my problem and now they threaten my people. Smh,” he tweeted.
