Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang To Travel Abroad For Medical Reasons


Vice President of Ghana, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is to travel abroad for medical treatment.

According to a statement released by the Presidency, the Vice President fell ill after work on Friday, March 28, and was treated at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on Saturday.

The statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu (MP), Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications emphasized that “based on expert medical opinion, she will be seeking further care abroad”.
