‘We Must End State Capture’ – Mahama To Fight Corruption ‘Head-On’

President John Dramani Mahama has vowed to end corruption in Ghana stressing his government will have zero tolerance for it.
According to him, corrupt acts, particularly mentioning State capture, will be a thing of the past in his administration.
“We must end State capture. We must end the purchase of State and public assets such as land and other immovable assets by members of the political class”, he said.
Assuring Ghanaians of his commitment to the fight against this economic canker, the President emphasized the significance of his Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
“I pledge to fight corruption head-on by implementing Operation Recover All The Loot…Ghanaians voted largely and overwhelmingly and endorsed the NDC because we demonstrated a strong commitment and abhorrence for corruption. We pledge to fight corruption and implement far-reaching reforms that will eventually achieve a sustainable zero tolerance policy against corruption.”
President John Mahama made these commitments in his State of the Nation Address Thursday morning.
