We’re Such A Lawless Country – Salam Mustapha Blasts Ghanaians

National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Salam Mustapha has bemoaned the character of some Ghanaians towards upholding the laws of the country.

The NPP National Youth Organizer exclaimed that “there is no law in this country that we want to follow in this country”.

He stressed when laws are made, “the first people to break are the very people you want to help and support”.

“”We are such a lawless country!…Don’t build on waterways, people are building on waterways. Don’t sell on the pavement, people will sell on their pavements”, he further rebuked the misbehavior of some Ghanaians.

Salam Mustapha made these remarks on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show while discussing the government’s decision to regulate the activities of motor riders, particularly tricycle and “okada” riders.

Although acknowledging the relevance of the new legislation which requires okada riders to be 25 years before they will be allowed to conduct their business, Salam Mustapha appealed to the government to be considerate with the riders.
