‘What a blessing!’ – Bishop Heward Mills Celebrates Bawumia
The Light House Chapel, East Legon, last night celebrated what the church described as the “historic” presence of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The Vice President, accompanied by his wife, Samira and some officials, was a guest at the church during its 31st Night Service at its newly built auditorium at East Legon.
Led by its founder and Leader, Bishop Dag Heward Mills, the congregation gave Dr. Bawumia a rapturous reception.
Welcoming Dr. Bawumia, Bishop Heward Mills expressed his excitement saying Dr. Bawumia’s presence marked the first time a such a high-profile personality had visited the church.
“I am happy to announce the presence of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife…I am so happy because this is the first time we are having a President or a Vice President. What a blessing!”, Bishop Heward Mills remarked.
Dr. Bawumia, on his part, wished them a blessed New Year and thanked God for “what he has done for me and the country Ghana” .
