Why Are You Contesting The Elections If You Have Won? – Mahama Slammed

James Kwabena Bomfeh has slammed former President and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, regarding his utterances against the government.

The former CPP General Secretary, popularly called “Kabilla”, speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show, stated that the former President is going about parading himself as having won the December presidential elections.

He told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that, in most of Mr. Mahama’s statements, he positions himself as already being the President of Ghana which, to him, is wrong posture.

Mr. Mahama has been very critical of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, claiming the government has plunged Ghanaians into a terrible economic state.

He accused the NPP of being full of lies and deception but Kabilla has warned him against his saying “I don’t know who has told him that he has won the elections”.

“As if you’ve won the elections, then why are we contesting? Why are you contesting? If you have been declared winner of the 2024 general elections, why are you contesting?”, he questioned.
