You Create A Mess For 8 Years And Expect Mahama To Solve It In 3 Months…Such ‘Disingenous’ Character! – ASEPA Boss Blasts NPP

Executive Director of the Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA), Mensah Thompson says the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) should shut up and allow the Mahama administration to do its job
He admonished the NPP to quit their criticisms of the government which, to him, are rather distractions.
The ASEPA boss rebuked the NPP regarding their comments on the 2025 budget presented by the Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, at Parliament on Tuesday, March 11.
The Minority caucus has been very critical of the government, following the budget presentation, as they embark on a journey of exposing what they believe are inaccuracies in the budget and deception of the Mahama government.
But to Mensah Thompson, it is disingenous on the part of the NPP to go on such tangent.
Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, he exclaimed; “You create a whole mess for 8 years and you want to nuse its first budget to solve all the messes you created, that is unfair. That is disingenous and I think we should call the NPP out.”
He stressed President John Mahama and his government need time to rebuild the country, hence “let’s give the government space so that regarding their resetting, they should go on a path, on a tangent gradually in a way and manner that the system will ease up”.
